Through Jacques Canetti’s life and the great artists he discovered and helped to make successful, his daughter Françoise Canetti, has imagined a journey through la chanson française.

Through the 20 panels, discover the backstage of the world of music and live alongside “the” artistic director who marked the 20th century, Jacques Canetti.

How did he “detect” those who were to become the “greats”? How did he help them to build such immense careers? Previously unpublished documents, photos and posters will tell you all about what lies behind such a difficult career path where sheer talent is not enough.

Throughout his life, Jacques Canetti had many inspired intuitions and accompanied the early careers of many legendary artists : Edith Piaf, Charles Trenet, Roche and Aznavour, Félix Leclerc, Georges Brassens, Jacques Brel, Raymond Devos, Guy Béart, Serge Gainsbourg, Jeanne Moreau, Simone Signoret, Serge Reggiani… and many more.
