Bio de l’artiste

Marcel Mouloudji, son of a Kabyle father and a Breton mother born in Sidi Aich in Algeria in 1922. Writer and actor very politically engaged, he met Jacques Canetti who makes him start as a singer on the Trois Baudets stage. Soon, he had him record “Comme un petit coquelicot” which won the1953 French Disc Grand Prize. Mouloudji then began a vast artistic career in songs and films. He died in 1994, leaving many projects unfinished.
